What is a Wholesale Customer?

The Jacksonville Flower Market provides public wholesale flowers at a competitive price available for local pick-up in the greater Jacksonville, FL area. However, we also offer a discounted price for our customers who run their own business, are purchasing our product with a Tax ID Number, and have the intent to resell our product to their own customers.

The customers who fill out an application for membership and are approved will enjoy a percentage discount on certain product purchased through the Jacksonville Flower Market. This percentage is variable depending on the customer. Our intent is to be competitive with other local wholesalers. Members who have a Resale certificate or Tax Exempt Certificate will also enjoy the perk of tax-free purchasing.

Approved members will be regularly reviewed and may be eligible for a new discount rate depending on recent volume. Any additional discounts will be at the discretion of The Jacksonville Flower Market and may be dropped back down if volume expectations are no longer being met.

Easy – fill out and submit the application for membership linked below. This can also be done in the store if it is more convenient for you! Once submitted, your application and certificate will be reviewed by our management team to confirm your contact information and active business license in the state disclosed. At this point, you will either be approved or not approved. Please allow 5-10 business days for this process. You will be contacted by a member of the Jacksonville Flower Market once your membership status has been determined.

Your tax-free status will apply across the board on any purchase at The Jacksonville Flower Market. However, your membership discount will apply only to regularly priced flowers and greenery. This does not include hard goods, classes, delivery fees, labor costs, already discounted products, or any other specials.

All wholesale and tax exempt purchases must be made either in-store, over the phone or on our website through your account. Once we have accepted your wholesale application with resale or tax exempt form attached if you have it, you will be registered in our systems with your name and business information. when making an in-store purchase please provide either contact name or business name when making your purchase so we can add your account to the order and you are able to receive these discounts!

Not at this time. Any purchases made must be paid for at the time of purchase.

Upon application approval, you will be granted a 1-year access to your wholesale discount and tax exempt. You will receive email notification upon expiration of the plans term. At that point, it is your responsibility to submit a new application for approval once again. We do this because business licenses are not permanent and wholesale status is reserved only for those with a current Tax ID Number. On that same note, if at any point any approved business is discovered to have given access of their account to a non-approved individual for personal use, your wholesale status will be immediately revoked. Also, considering this constitutes tax fraud, the guilty parties will be reported to the proper authorities for further review.

Certificate of Exemption

This is a multi-state form. Not all states allow all exemptions listed on this form. Purchasers are responsible for knowing if they qualify to claim exemption in this state that would otherwise be due tax on this sale. The seller may be required to provide this exemption certificate (or data elements required on the form) to a state that would otherwise be due tax on this sale. The purchaser will be held liable for any tax and interest, and possibly civil and criminal penalties imposed by the member state, if the purchaser is not eligible to claim this exemption. A seller may not accept a certificate of exemption for an entity-based exemption on a sale made at a location operated by the seller within the designated state if the state does not allow such an entity-based exemption.

This application may take up to 1 week to approve and is required to be updated annually to maintain your wholesale account. All tax-exempt status approval applies to the applicant of this agreement.
